Curfews just can’t curtail Taylor Swift.
The multiplatinum-selling pop star roared right past the 11:00 p.m. weekend curfew at Levi’s Stadium for the second consecutive night on Saturday.
The approximately 58,000 “Swifties” in attendance of course didn’t mind as the pop star delivered yet another sold-out show on her blockbuster Eras Tour, which supports not just one but four recent albums — 2019’s “Lover,” 2020’s “Folklore” and “Evermore” and 2022’s “Midnights.”
The show ended with a cascade of fireworks at 11:26 p.m.
Swift also broke curfew on Friday as she performed a 45-song, 3½-hour set that ran until roughly 11:38 p.m. So far, there have been no repercussions from Santa Clara city officials. Michelle Templeton, a spokeswoman for the city, said no noise complaints were filed with Santa Clara’s police department about Friday’s concert.
Officials rolled out the red carpet for Swift, temporarily renaming the city “Swiftie Clara” and making her honorary mayor in recognition of the singer-songwriter’s two sold-out shows at Levi’s Stadium.
