Before the red carpet is rolled out for footy’s night of nights on Sunday, take look back at the stunners and the shockers from previous years.
From sheer, figure-hugging gowns to bedazzled trains, jumpsuits, plunging necklines, these are the WAGs who know how to make an entrance.
Rebecca Judd
Probably the most iconic moment of all is thanks to Rebecca Judd, or Rebecca Twigley as she was known before marrying premiership player Chris Judd, in that dress.
She made her Brownlow red carpet debut in 2004 on the arm of her then-boyfriend, West Coast footballer Judd, in a red dress by the late Perth designer Ruth Tarydas.
The neckline dipped below her belly button, while the back of the dress was even lower.
She very nearly outshone her boyfriend, who took home the coveted accolade that year.
The Perth-raised now Melbourne-based WAG has made several more showstopping appearances at the Brownlow since.
Brynne Edelsten
The early 2000’s were a wild time for fashion.
The then-wife of businessman Geoffry Edelsten, who once owned the Sydney Swans AFL club, was also known for her bold choices on the red carpet.
Brittany Bown
She may be a relative newcomer to the Brownlow, this year will mark her third time at the event, but Brittany Bown, who is expecting her first child with West Coast star Nic Naitanui at any moment, was the belle of the ball last year.
The psychotherapist and STM columnist wore a Jason Grech gown.
Dani Shuey
Dani Shuey, the wife of Eagles skipper Luke Shuey, has also seen her fair share of red carpets and lands herself on the best dressed list year after year.
Last year she invited PerthNow and The West Australian behind the scenes and shared her secrets to a picture-perfect look.
“It’s always an honour to be invited to the Brownlow,” Dani told The West Australian.
“I feel like the last couple of years, having kids has just thrown any kind of fun in getting ready out the window.
“That’s why I call on the amazing people that are around me to help.”
Jesinta Franklin
After winning Miss Universe Australia in 2010, Franklin, then Campbell, attended the Brownlow with Hawthorn payer Brad Sewell. Six years later she starting dating footy legend Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.
Nadia Bartel
Another regular on the Brownlow red carpet, one of Nadia Bartel’s most stunning looks was in 2018, when she wore a J’Aton dress. It was also her first solo Brownlow, after splitting from Jimmy and working for broadcaster Channel 7.
Moana Hope and Isabella Carlstrom

The 2017 event marked their first official function together. Their relationship has gone from strength to strength, with them welcoming their second child together, Ahi, who was born in June, and is little sister to Svea, born in 2020.
Kelly Tisdale
The partner of Bulldog Daniel Giansiracusa wore a Brownlow Medal, which was stitched into her outfit.
Jessie Murphy
The wife of Carlton’s Marc Murphy nailed pregnancy style, and her other looks.
Brit Davis
The partner of Geelong’s Joel Selwood stole the show in 2016 with her fairytale pink gown.
Jordan Ablett
Jordan Ablett wore a showstopping J’Aton Couture gladiator-inspired red dress paired with daring black thigh-high boots while accompanying her parter Garry Ablett Jr. in 2016.
Gabi Grecko
The then-fiancee of Geoffrey Edelsten also made the list in 2014 in her Lady Gaga-esque style gown paired with Egyptian-inspired makeup.
Lauren Gear
Lauen Gera shone as bright as the Brownlow medal in this Grecian/ Hollywood glamour gown alongside North Melbourne footballer Scott Thompson.
Nat Fyfe
Saving the best til last. When Nat Fyfe took out the 2015 Brownlow Medal, he sent social media into meltdown with a shirtless photo of himself and his new medal the next morning.
