Running from October 27th through 29th, 2022, The New York City Jewelry And Watch Show, produced by the Palm Beach Show Group featured a roster of international dealers at the Metropolitan Pavillion in Chelsea, Manhattan. The show was jamming with visitors clamoring to see the antique and vintage jewelry on display. #NYCJAWS, as it is known to exhibitors and attendees, spanned from the 1700s to the 1980s with signed jewelry from the mid-20th century. Compared to the larger shows in Las Vegas, Palm Beach and Baltimore—it was a smaller show but one that packed in the crowds each day. And although authentic antique and vintage pieces continue to become more challenging to find, there were some original and unique pieces for the starter and consummate collector.

Here are some favorites from dealers from the U.K and the U.S., which included different versions of acrostic brooches, birds and butterflies and Art Deco geometric forms, a range of necklaces from the Georgian through Art Deco periods and bracelets from the Art Deco period:

The Brooches

The Vintage Jeweller’s Victorian diamond swallow brooch in 15ct gold, circa 1880.

The Spare Room Antiques Georgian Regard acrostic basket brooch with cannetille work, circa 1800.
