Then, four years later — soon after Playboy announced it would no longer publish images of fully nude women as part of an editorial redesign — the magazine announced there was really only one person who should cover the final edition that left nothing to the imagination in January 2016.
“To close out this era in the magazine’s history, it only made sense to put the most famous Playmate in Playboy history on the cover: Pamela Anderson,” the magazine wrote at the time.

Playboy has put the challenge out to content creators and models to recreate the Baywatch star’s images from her first pictorial as a Playmate in 1990, as an homage to the impact she’s created from her time covering the magazine.
Playboy’s creator-led digital platform is for the world’s top creators to interact directly with their fans, expand their communities and build their own personal content and commerce businesses.

Playboy made the announcement on July 1, Anderson’s birthday, to all the Bunnies out there.
