Days of Play 2023 runs from June 2 through June 12, PlayStation has announced. The annual sales event occurs every year around this time, and outside of major promotions such as Black Friday and Prime Day, Days of Play typically offers the best opportunity to pick up PlayStation products at nice discounts.
The sale will feature deals on PS5 games, accessories, PlayStation Plus memberships, and gear and collectibles (via the PlayStation Gear Store).
On the games side of things, PlayStation Direct will have discounts on physical games, while digital versions will be available from the PlayStation Store. Though PlayStation hasn’t revealed any specific game deals, we know of at least one game up for grabs: God of War: Ragnarok for $50. This particular deal is advertised in Target’s weekly ad.
Like other years, you can expect all major retailers to take part in Days of Play, so you’ll likely be able to shop at your preferred retailer, whether that be Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, or Target. Days of Play typically focuses on PlayStation console exclusives, so anticipate seeing deals on titles such as Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and more hit games.
Last year, Days of Play brought deals on DualSense controllers, which are rarely discounted in general. PlayStation’s other official accessories are usually on sale, too, so this could be a good opportunity to pick up a headset or charging station.
Notably, PlayStation Plus will receive a 25% discount for annual subscriptions across the board, dropping the price of PS Plus Essential to $45 (was $60), PS Plus Extra to $75 (was $100), and PS Plus Premium to $90 (was $120).
The PlayStation Gear Store will offer 20% off eligible items with promo code DAYSOFPLAY23 and free shipping on orders placed during the sales event. There will also be special promotions on three days. If you spend $50 on June 2, you’ll get a PlayStation beverage sleeve. On June 7, you can save 50% on a jacket/sweatshirt when buying another one at full price. And on the final day of the sale, PlayStation will have curated bundles of merch.
