POCO M4 Pro has been launched in global markets, as promised. It is the company’s latest 5G offering in the mid-range segment but is yet another rebrand. The POCO M4 Pro is a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11 that debuted in China late last month. The handset comes with a punch-hole camera and a large rectangular rear camera island similar to what we saw on the POCO M3 Pro. The device also gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Since it’s a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11, the two devices share similar hardware. The POCO phone ships with a 6.6-inch display, 50MP primary sensor, and Android 11 OS. It touts the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, which was seen a few hours ago on the Lava Agni 5G.

POCO M4 Pro price, availability

POCO M4 Pro price is EUR 229 (approx Rs 19,300) for the 4GB+64GB option and EUR 249 (approx Rs 21,300) for the 6GB+128GB variant. Early bird prices are EUR 199 and EUR 219, respectively. The phone comes in Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow colours. The POCO M4 Pro 5G sale begins on November 11th in Europe.

POCO M4 Pro specifications

POCO M4 Pro 5G sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for games. The phone comes in multiple configurations: 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB options. It runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box and Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. 

The POCO M4 Pro 5G is the first POCO phone to get a 50MP primary camera. The rear camera system also includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the phone gets a 16MP front-facing camera. It measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75 mm and weighs 195 grams. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, 33W fast charging support, and a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
