A man who is madly in love with his girlfriend decided the most opportune time to propose to her was when she exited a bathroom aboard a flight to Cancun, Mexico.

In a TikTok video that has garnered more than two million views and has since gone viral, an unnamed man can be seen down on one knee in the aisle of a packed airplane cabin as passengers armed with their cellphones surrounded him awaiting his partner who was doing her business in the bathroom.

With ring box in hand, the man waited patiently as his partner exited the loo. Upon seeing the man, the woman seemed excited and beyond happy to accept her love’s proposal as they embraced and passengers cheered.
Those who viewed the video were divided on whether the bathroom proposal was romantic or awkward.
“Awww you can see how much he loves her,” said one person who spoke positively of the propsal.
“It’s the entire flights’ participation that touched me,” said another positive viewer.
“No sir. Absolutely not,” said one who disagreed with the romantic stunt.
“I hope no one ever does this to me … in a moving plane that I can’t get out off … with strangers,” said another detractor.
