Leeds Castle in Kent announced the “exciting” opportunity for its visitors earlier this week saying that on selected dates throughout July and August, guests can “experience a fairy-tale come true”.

The overnight stays will be in the castle’s historic bedrooms, complete with an indulgent breakfast and dinner “fit for royalty”.

The fort promise guests a “rare glimpse” into its “captivating history”.

The castle’s heritage dates back more than 900 years, making it a great staycation option for history enthusiasts, milestone celebrations, and those seeking a unique experience.

Guests can choose to stay in the Castle’s State Bedrooms, where heiress Lady Baillie’s hosted the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Winston Churchill and even Charlie Chaplin once stayed.

Other film stars including Errol Flynn and David Niven were also known to have spent nights in the castle as well.

Visitors could also opt for a stay in the Battlement Bedrooms which were designed to house the staff of Lady Baillie’s guests.

Guests can spend the day exploring the castle’s 500 acres of seasonal gardens and parkland and discovering its history before retreating to their castle bedrooms.

As part of their stay, they will be treated to a sumptuous two-course dinner in the Castle View restaurant.

They will sample the latest seasonal menu with locally sourced produce, prepared by talented chefs, while taking in the views of Leeds Castle.

Guests will then return to the restaurant the morning after for a breakfast, which the castle say will be served “with warmth and elegance.”

Anyone interested can book their stay now to ensure they get a room on one of the limited days available.

Reservations can be made directly through the Leeds Castle official website at www.leeds-castle.com/stay.
