LISBON, 10th June, 2022 (WAM) — Portugal will be represented by 25 athletes, in five sports, at the European Youth Paralympic Games, taking place between 27th June and 4th July in Pajulahti, Finland, the Portuguese Paralympic Committee (CPP) announced on Thursday.
The Portuguese who will participate in the event, bringing together more than 500 participants from 29 countries, will compete in athletics, wheelchair basketball, boccia, swimming and table tennis.
According to the Portuguese News Agency (Lusa), in the last edition of the European Youth Paralympic Games held in 2019, Portugal won 11 medals – four gold, four silver and three bronze – in athletics, boccia, goalball and swimming.
