Prayers are pouring in for Jimmy Butler’s family during the NBA Finals this year.
Butler has led the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals as the No. 8 seed out of the Eastern Conference. Miami tied up the series with the Denver Nuggets at 1-1 in Game 2 on Sunday night.
Unfortunately, Butler’s family is reportedly going through a difficult time.
Skip Bayless reports that Butler’s father is “not doing well” right now.
“We haven’t seen Playoff Jimmy [Butler] now for 7 straight games. He is going through an issue with his father who is not well… I think he might be a little distracted, if not a little drained, by going through that.”

NBA fans are praying for Butler and his family during this difficult time.
“Hope everything turns out ok for Jimmy and his father Luckily, he’s surrounded by absolute dogs that rise to the occasion when Jimmy is not at his best,” one fan wrote.
