Pregnant WAGs steal show at Eagles awards night

The West Coast Eagles’ blue carpet has been rolled out for the club’s best and fairest — the John Worsfold Medal.

Although the boys might not be bringing home a shiny piece for the mantle, that hasn’t stopped the player’s partners from shining bright like a diamond on the blue carpet at Crown Perth.

All eyes were on mum-to-be Brittany Bown who was glowing in a stunning simple black strapless dress.

She is just weeks away from giving birth to her and her partner Nic Naitanui’s son in September.

This could well and truly be Bown’s last public event before giving birth.

She told The West Australian that getting ready for this year’s event was a bit different.

The 28-year-old pilates instructor spent most of her day soaking up the sun as she and Naitanui spent some downtime by the pool at Crown ahead of the big event.

“It was a bit more chilled than usual, I’m four weeks away from giving birth, so I took it a bit easier,” she said.

Bown accessories her look with some sparkling diamonds from Rosendorff.

On how she chose her outfit tonight, one word — “comfort”.

“It was definitely based on how stretchy the dress was,” she laughed.

The brunette beauty said she’s currently craving tropical smoothies which she admits has been an odd choice in Perth’s recent cold snap.

In another blue carpet reveal, Tom Barrass’ partner Nadia Rosa revealed she is expecting the couple’s second baby.

While making her appearance on the carpet Rosa, who is the step-sister of legendary Perth actor Heath Ledger, asked if the media wanted to see her tiny pregnant belly.

The high-profile couple welcomed their first child, a son, in October 2021.

Barrass joins Tim Kelly, Jack Redden, and Shannon Hurn as the top contenders to take out the club’s champion.

Rosa joins current pregnant players Bown and Aymee Redden who also looked ready to pop.

Aymee, who is the partner to midfielder Jack Redden, was every bit angelic in a white halterneck with a white bag to match.

Kelly’s partner Caitlin Miller stood out in a bright yellow number, with statement earrings to match.

Captain Luke Shuey’s wife Danielle Shuey matched Miller in Eagles colours by wearing a beautiful blue dress.

Tom Cole and his fiance Lily Burke were a picture-perfect pair with Burke looking like an Olympic champion in green and gold.
