Presenting: All the Details on Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia’s “Men Tell All” ‘Bachelorette’ Special

0

By now, you’re probs aware that The Bachelorette season 19 is in full swing, and both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia have each faced their fair share of D-R-A-M-A. The two women are now fully in the midst of selecting their top men, and fans will soon learn who they wind up with (although we totally know all the spoilers in the event that you simply can’t wait). If that isn’t enough, Reality Steve reminded us a few weeks back that the “Men Tell All” episode, which airs TONIGHT, wrapped up filming, and apparently so much goes down. Live footage of me being thankful for this intel in 3, 2, 1….

Anyway! Here’s a quick recap of everything we know about this season’s Bachelorette “MTA” episode so far just in time for tonight’s airing. FAIR WARNING: There are major “Men Tell All” spoilers ahead. Obviously! Behold:

Hayden is…still not a fan favorite

Hayden Markowitz (aka this season’s “villain”) made derogatory comments about Rachel and Gabby, which obvi sparked his elimination. Since then, he’s posted an apology on his Instagram, subsequently taken it down, and, according to Reality Steve, is told by Gabby that the move was calculated since he never reached out to the women specifically to apologize.

And in case you were curious (we know you are, lol), here’s what Hayden’s since-deleted post said:

“For those who watched tonight’s episode, you saw me at my absolute worst and lowest moment. I have always tried to carry myself with humility and respect for others. However, my complete lapse of judgment was not only disappointing but it was absolutely unacceptable. I genuinely want to express my deepest apologies to both Gabby and Rachel for my actions.”

Referring to his ???? actions as a “lapse,” Hayden attempted (emphasis on the word “attempted”) to take some of the blame, adding, “I really hate how this season ended, but this experience was not one that I was mentally or emotionally prepared for with the current things going on in my life.”

“Despite how everything transpired, it was an amazing experience that I will never forget and will learn from. I wish Gabby and Rachel all the best and hope they can accept my apology!”

Nate was put in the hot seat about those allegations

There’s been…quite a bit of drama surrounding Nate Mitchell, and it sounds like it continues during the “MTA” episode. A refresher: In a recent podcast episode, Reality Steve addressed rumors that Nate deceived an old girlfriend he was dating from 2020 to 2021 (before he appeared on The Bachelorette, of course). During the episode, Steve spoke with Nate’s ex-girlfriend, who claimed that Nate reportedly sent DMs to another woman. *cue dramatic music*

“I wish Nate all the best,” she said to Steve. “I don’t want to affect his future, but it’s important for me to try and prevent another girl from being blindsided by his secrecies.” The ex *also* alleged that Nate kept his daughter a secret from her during the entire duration of their relationship aaand she even made a TikTok about it back in July:

Fast-forward to the “MTA” episode, and Nate apparently got pretty emotional onstage when confronted with the allegations. Per Reality Steve, the Chicago native admitted his divorce was very messy. That said, he never outright said exclusivity conversations took place between him and the women he was seeing, which contradicts her assertion that the two absolutely did have that convo. ????????

When Gabby and Rachel come out during the taping, Gabby actually defended Nate, saying she can only comment on how Nate treated her, which was with nothing but respect.

Literally me trying to keep up with all this drama:

Nate’s elimination gets discussed

Gabby’s tearful elimination of Nate in Amsterdam got us *all* in our feels. However, it was Reality Steve who initially dished that Gabby deciding to break the news because she’s scared she won’t be a good mom/Nate already has a child would appear in the “MTA” episode. And the plot thickens!

Logan gets COVID-19

By now, like the dedicated fan I know you are, you’ve probs already seen and taken notes on the previews of Jesse telling Logan he has to leave—and we now finally know why! Sadly, he ended up getting COVID-19 during filming and was subsequently sent home in Amsterdam.

Meatball takes off his shirt…again

Ah, yes, a little bit of levity was introduced by way of fan favorite and national treasure James Clarke, aka Meatball, who allegedly stripped off his shirt as Billy poured sauce on him in what I would consider to be a series of questionable events. The audience members were also given meatball sandwiches to hold. More? Questionable? Events? But? Fine?!?!

*le sigh* So much drama, so little time! BRB, gonna go investigate the rumors of Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan allegedly being spotted together, because why not add fuel to the fire? Lol. Let’s catch up tomorrow AM when we’ve all recovered from the episode tonight.
