President Joe Biden took some time out of his busy schedule on Wednesday to shoutout the NBA Champion Denver Nuggets on their historic accomplishment.
Taking to Twitter, POTUS congratulated the franchise on its first ever title. Specifically Nikola Jokic and head coach Michael Malone.
“Congratulations to MVP Nikola Jokic, Coach Malone, and the entire Nuggets organization for bringing home their first-ever NBA title in the Mile High City of champions,” the president said.

Biden most recently hosted the Super Bowl winning Kansas City Chiefs at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue after welcoming the NCAA Champion LSU Tigers and UConn Huskies.
The Denver Nuggets took care of the Miami Heat in five games thanks to the terrific play of their MVP big man and huge contributions from fellow star Jamal Murray and role players Aaron Gordon, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Christian Braun.
Fans have waited 47 long years to call their team champions. That ended on Monday night.
