After two postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. debut of Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival will finally take place at the L.A. State Historic Park Sept. 16-18 featuring headliners Nine Inch Nails, Arctic Monkeys and Lorde.
This week, festival promoters added more acts to the eclectic lineup including Los Angeles-based R&B singer-songwriter Giveon, Norwegian indie pop artist Girl in Red, rock band Surf Curse, Australian punk band Amyl and the Sniffers, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Rattigan’s Current Joys and Detroit techno artist Jeff Mills.
Previously announced performers include James Blake, Mitski, Darkside, Clairo, Khruangbin, Mustafa, Fontaines D.C., Kim Gordon, Cigarettes After Sex, King Krule, Faye Webster, PinkPantheress, Stereolab and more.
Tickets are $149 for general admission single-day passes; $240 for two-day general admission; $425 for three-day general admission; $379 for single-day VIP passes; $680 for two-day VIP; $975 for three-day VIP. All passes are currently available at primaverasound.com.
