We’re still catching breath from the recent Harry and Meghan Netflix show but not ones to rest on their laurels, the couple have already dropped the trailer for their next documentary on the streaming giant.

Netflix just released a trailer for a new documentary hosted and executively produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that will look at ‘inspirational leaders’ throughout history.

Harry and Meghan will look at some of history’s most inspiring leaders such as the late US Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, climate change activist Greta Thunberg and the legendary former South African president Nelson Mandela.

The show will drop on Netflix on December 31 and the seven-part series comes from the Duke and Duchess’s Archewell, the producer of this month’s most talked-about (and streamed) documentary from the pair.

Speaking at the start of the trailer, Harry says that Nelson Mandela was the inspiration for the documentary and quotes the iconic late leader, saying: “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we’ve lived…”, with Meghan finishing off the quote by adding: “It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

Harry then says: “It’s about people who have made brave choices’ and Meghan adds: ‘To fight for change and to become leaders…”

Harry signs off by saying: “and for giving inspiration to the rest of us, to live, to lead.”

In fact, the Nelson Mandela foundation has already tweeted a link to the show’s trailer, writing: “Extraordinary leaders reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility, hope and generosity.”

The new drop comes after it was revealed that the couple’s debut show, Harry & Meghan, set a Netflix viewership record for a documentary title, with viewers worldwide spending 81.55 million hours watching the first three episodes in the first four days they were available.

Well, that’s our New Year’s Eve viewing sorted.
