Prince Naseem Hamed was keen to return to the ring and end his retirement after watching YouTube stars fight in professional bouts.
The legendary fighter was considered one of the most entertaining boxers of all time domestically fighting in classic bouts against Paul Ingle and Kevin Kelley.
He is also considered one of the most popular fighters in Britain and he continues to follow boxing to this day.
Content creator Slim Albaher has claimed that Hamed, 47, was dying to make his return to the ring after watching the YouTube star make his own appearances in social-media fights.
“One thing that Prince told me after my second fight was that he wanted to come out of retirement and do what you do,” Albaher told Jibber with Jabber.

“I do this little thing before I come out for a fight like this bow and arrow move, and he said he wished that he could come out of retirement and do that to his opponents.”
Albaher has competed in amateur boxing bouts against Yousef ‘FouseyTube’ Erakat first at York Hall in London before winning his second in a matter of seconds.
The fight was a complete mismatch with Amir Fotoohi, who goes by the social media name N&A Productions stopped in seconds by the referee after facing some brutal punishment.
His latest knockout victory against 3Bidaan came on the undercard of the ‘Social Knockout 2’ fight event at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai where he scored a viral KO right hand which sent his opponent crashing to the canvas.
Hamed is clearly invested in the world of YouTube boxing having seen Albaher move to 3-0 professionally.
The star lost just one fight during his illustrious career having generated a multi-million pound fortune and a huge reputation in the sport.

But his career declined rapidly losing his final fight before retiring after several outside personal issues including a stint in prison after a car accident.
Hamed’s name may not yet be entirely out of boxing after his son Aadam was spotted recreating his famous dancing feet while hitting a punch bag.
His son plans to take up the mantle of his father and move into professional boxing at the age of 21.
However this would be against the will of his father who had previously planned to prevent his children from competing in the professional ring.
“He’s the natural fighter. But I don’t want my kids to fight,” Hamed said. “Beyond the smile and humour, the flying carpets and all the razzmatazz, I wanted to knock someone out cold.
“If you ruffled those feathers, I really wanted to knock someone out. Why would I want a guy with that same intention standing opposite my son?”
