Coronation Street actress Nicola Thorp took issue with the heir to the throne as she mocked Prince William as he read from cue cards.
The GB News presenter caused a stir as she took to social media and cheekily took aim at the royal.
In view of her 66,000 followers, she tweeted: “William had 40 years to learn two lines and still read from a card that someone else held in front of his face.
“And people say the royals don’t work hard…”
During the ceremony, King Charles looked emotional as the Prince of Wales pledged his oath to the King during the coronation ceremony.

In a break with tradition, Prince William was the only blood prince to pay homage during the service at Westminster Abbey on Saturday.
Kneeling before the King, he said: “I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God.”
William could be seen looking towards a prompt as he pledged his allegiance which caught the Corrie star’s attention.
He then stood and kissed his father on the right cheek as the King looked on emotionally.
Nicola’s comments sparked a social media divide as some people took the opportunity to praise William’s efforts.
Les penned: “That’s harsh. William and Catherine are a beautiful family couple.”
Nicola suggested: “Even the royals can get nervous and need a prompt.”
“Maybe he was nervous,” Tracy commented, while Tim tweeted: “Everyone read from cards, cuts the risk of making a mistake. Simples.”
Others agreed with Nicola, as Lorna commented: “Yes thought the same! Useless.”
Elizabeth added: “Exactly right.”
The Prince of Wales was not alone in reading from cue cards as King Charles was also seen using a prompt as well as the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby seen glancing at the placards as well.
Prince William earlier put the ceremonial Robe of State on the King, which was carried into the venue by Prince George, 9.
At the request of the King and Queen, Prince William and Princess Kate both wore formal robes to the coronation, with the Prince wearing the ceremonial uniform of the Welsh Guards.
