Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 by director Mani Ratnam is proving to be a successful endeavor for everyone involved. The movie is currently very close to earning ₹350 crores worldwide. Trade reports claim that Ponniyin Selvan is performing well at the box office even on weekdays.
Numerous box office records have been broken by the movie on the international stage. The film will shortly surpass ₹200 crores in domestic ticket sales. On September 30, Ponniyin Selvan’s first installment in five languages debuted in theatres. Positive reviews of Ponniyin Selvan have been coming in from both the reviewers and the audience. Ponniyin Selvan is based on the well-known Kalki Krishnamurthy novel in Tamil of the same name. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi play the key characters in this historical drama. Supporting actors included Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, Lal, and Vikram Prabhu. The music was scored by AR Rahman.
