PS Plus November 2023 delay – Sony reveal coming later than expected

PS Plus November 2023 delay – Sony reveal coming later than expected

PlayStation Plus subscribers are facing a long wait to find out the identity of the free PS4 and PS5 games for November 2023. The PS Plus games launch on the first Tuesday of the month, and are announced the week before. Due to the way the dates fall, this means the PlayStation Plus Essentials will launch on November 7, and won’t actually be unveiled until November 1. The only good news is that subscribers have more time to redeem the October 2023 free games, which are headlined by The Callisto Protocol.

Directed by the creator of Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol is a futuristic survival horror game set within a maximum security prison.

Sony explains more: “In this narrative-driven, third-person survival horror set 300 years in the future, you take on the role of Jacob Lee – a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto.

“When inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos.

“To survive, Jacob must battle his way to safety to escape Black Iron Prison, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets buried beneath the surface of Callisto.”

The Callisto Protocol is joined by cult favourite Farming Simulator 22, as well as unique RPG Weird West.

Weird West takes place in a dark fantasy reimagining of the Wild West, where lawman face Lovecraftian monsters.

“Journey through the story of a group of atypical heroes, written into legend by the decisions you make in an unforgiving land.

‘Each journey is unique and tailored to the actions taken – a series of high-stakes adventures where everything counts and the world reacts to the choices you make.

“Form a posse or venture forth alone into the otherworldly confines of the Weird West and make each legend your own.”

The games will be available to download until the morning of November 7. Daily Express will be back with the new PS Plus line-up in the coming days and weeks.
