We weren’t expecting them, but as part of this year’s Prime Day shopping extravaganza, Amazon has discounted all things skincare – and not just any skincare. The kind that comes from one of the most effective, science-backed brands on the block: TikTok-adored Medik8.

You can save up to 25% across countless Medik8 products, from the best-selling Advanced Night Restore cream and the Advanced Day Ultimate Protect moisturiser, to the C-Tetra Luxe Vitamin C serum and the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 serum. All of which are firm-favourites in the GLAMOUR office. Just bear in mind: said offers are only going to be available until 23:59 tomorrow, so there’s absolutely no time to waste.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Medik8 is a skincare brand famously known for its cutting-edge product technologies which is regularly praised by dermatologists and beauty editors alike. Ever since its founder Elliot Isaacs invented the CSA Philosophy in 2009 – a method that suggests that all your skin needs is vitamin C plus face sunscreen during the day and vitamin A (AKA retinol) at night – Medik8 has become world-renowned.

When it comes to their product lineup, there’s no shortage of impressive formulations, namely their Crystal Retinal range, which lets you pick the exact retinoid concentration that works best on your skin. As someone who has sensitive skin, I’m not usually the biggest fan of retinol serums as some highly-concentrated formulas tend to irritate my skin, resulting in excessive redness and tenderness. Luckily, ever since I hopped on the Medik8 hype, I never looked back. Starting from Crystal Retinal 1 (which is the most gentle option), I was able to work my way up to Crystal Retinal 10 and my skin felt as comfortable as ever. The maximum level gets all the way up to Retinal 20, but for the time being, I’ll stick to level 10.

Elsewhere, the Advanced Day Ultimate Protect, a daily moisturiser with SPF50, is a mainstay in my makeup bag. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin and absorbs within seconds. Not to mention that UV protection is always a plus in my book. I’m also a huuuge fan of the brand’s C-Tetra Luxe vitamin c serum (it’s the one product that I absolutely cannot replace) and, of course, the Advanced Night Restore moisturiser, which is a night cream that is infused with ceramides, fatty acids and peptides.

In the name of transparency, if I were to pinpoint one Medik8 downside, it would be the price point. Outside of Amazon Prime Day beauty deals event, Medik8 products are notoriously expensive, often setting you back a solid £100 for just two products. Of course, such pricing is perfectly understandable once you read up on all the included high-grade ingredients – and the advanced technology that’s behind such formulations. And luckily, thanks to Prime Day sales, you can save a good chunk of money and indulge in the best Medik8 skincare at a lower price.
