Punk in the Park: Set times announced for Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys and more

Brew Ha Ha Productions announced the set times for its second annual Punk In The Park, which returns to Oak Canyon Park in Silverado Nov. 5-6.

The two-day festival will host legendary Southern California bands such as Bad Religion from Los Angeles, Adolescents from Orange County and Voodoo Glow Skulls from Riverside. San Francisco-based punk band Dead Kennedys, who were scheduled to play on Nov. 5 have officially dropped off the bill following the sudden death of its drummer D. H. Peligro on Friday, Oct. 28. Festival producers posted on its official social media pages on Tuesday that the band would no longer a part of the lineup but they had “already confirmed a very special guest that has graciously agreed to step in and perform in their absence.”

Artists such as Dropkick Murphy’s, Face to Face, Anti-Flag, and Manic Hispanic are also scheduled to perform.

Punk in the Park will offer three hours of craft beer tastings from noon-3 p.m., showcasing an impressive array of craft beers. Attendees can also enjoy food for purchase from food trucks and local vendors with vegan options available.

Saturday general admission and VIP passes are sold out. However, 21+ general-admission weekend passes, which are good for both days, are still available for $130; Sunday general admission tickets are available for $65 and VIP passes are $135 at punkinthepark.com.
