A Swiss artist has projected into the sky photos of the Queen and Prince Philip ‘together for ever’ in a dazzling tribute to the late monarch.
The magnificent pictures show ‘the queen on her way to heaven’ as she holds hand with Prince Phillip on clouds in the sky over mountains in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland
The project by Gerry Hofstetter is titled ‘travelling to the stars – The Queen of England on the way to heaven’. The artist has used the billowing clouds as a canvas on which to light up a final tribute to Queen Elizabeth II following her death.
Three months ago, during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Hofstetter projected images onto famous Swiss mountains in partnership with the British embassy in Switzerland.

One well-wisher spotted a cloud figure that reminded them of Her late Majesty on one of her beloved horses last week.
The image taken last Sunday in Wembley, north-west London, mirrored photos of a young Elizabeth riding in royal uniform.
In another occasion a woman shared an image of a cloud formation resembling the queen floating over an English town, captured just an hour after the monarch passed away.
‘Driving home and Lacey starts shouting OMG! I panicked. Then she pointed this image out in the clouds,’ Leanne Bethell who took the picture said on Facebook.
