The Royal Family recently shared a series of throwback photographs of the Queen and royal fans have been amazed at how “different” Her Majesty looks just over a decade ago.
In a snap from 2010, the Queen can be seen visiting the village of Cloughton in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire.
The Firm have been releasing unpublished photos as part of a countdown to Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee next week.
It was the first time the monarch had been to the area since 1975.
Her Majesty had a number of royal engagements during the visit, including opening Scarborough’s newly refurbished open air-theatre.

A caption accompanying the image read: “School children welcome The Queen to Cloughton, North Yorkshire.”
Her Majesty smiles at onlookers sporting a floral blue dress and matching signature hat.
One royal fan reacted to the photo writing: “Looks like a completely different person.”
Another exclaimed: “The queen looks radiant!”
A third fan couldn’t believe that the photo was taken “just a decade ago”.

It has been revealed that the Queen will scale her Platinum Jubilee celebrations back even further by dropping out of the official salute at the Trooping of the Colour parade.
Held every year to officially mark the Queen’s birthday, this year’s events take place on Thursday, June 2.
Normally, Her Majesty would salute her personal troops – the Household Division – on Horse Guards Parade.
But this year, royal fans were shocked as it was announced that Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne will be making the salute instead.
The trio will also ride on the parade as colonels of the Welsh Guards, the Irish Guards and the Blues and Royals.
One Twitter user commented: “It’s a shame that for all of the years she made a point to do so, but because of all the controversy of who should and shouldn’t be on the balcony, she won’t appear either.
