This clash will be the final group-stage game for both franchises. A win will be the only way the Gladiators stay alive in the PSL, while a win for the Multan side can intensify their hopes for a top-two finish, as they have a better net run rate compared to second-placed Islamabad United.
Mohammad Rizwan, who has scored the highest runs in PSL this season with 428 runs to his name, will be key for the Sultans. They also have the highest wicket-taker in the tournament in Ihsanullah. The 20-year-old pacer went wicketless in the last match against Peshawar and will be keen to pick wickets against the Gladiators.
Quetta kept their playoff hopes alive with a gigantic win over the Zalmis as they chased down 241 runs in the last match. Jason Roy scored an unbeaten 145 off just 63 balls to create havoc as they won their last match with 10 balls to spare. The England batter will be the keystone for the Gladiators, while they need the likes of Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Nawaz to step up with the ball.
