Logan Paul has joined a long list of celebrities to take a quokka selfie.
The social media sensation and WWE superstar landed in Perth on Thursday night and on Friday spent the day at Rottnest Island.
“Happy Friday,” he captioned the selfie.
As far as quokka selfies go, it’s a pretty good one, with the quokka perfectly in the shot with a smiling Paul.
Other notable celebs to pose with a quokka include Aussie football legend Sam Kerr, and tennis superstars Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
Streetwear label StreetX owner Daniel Bradshaw was spotted hanging out with Paul at Rotto.
Bradshaw shared a video of Paul and his model girlfriend Nina Agdal sipping on some champagne as they soaked up the sun on the back of a private boat.
The 27-year-old YouTuber from the US is currently in town for Sunday’s sold-out UFC event set to be held at RAC Arena.
On Thursday night, just hours after his scheduled Midvale meet-and-greet was cancelled over safety concerns, Paul told fans he would organise a replacement one.
One fan said Logan Paul told him: “We’re going to make it happen, we’re going to do something.”
Woolworths released a statement on Thursday saying the event had been cancelled in the interest of public safety.
“Following a safety and security review and with the advice of WA Police, our security providers and the City of Swan we are not satisfied in the interests of public safety for this event to occur at the Midvale Central Shopping Centre car park on Saturday 11 February,” a Woolworths spokesperson said.
“We know this is disappointing for customers and fans of Prime drinks, however public safety must come first.”
Paul was photographed holding hands with Agdal last night. The couple, and his entourage, arrived in Perth in rockstar style via private jet on Thursday.
There are several UFC-related events taking over the city this weekend including a press conference scheduled for 4pm on Friday afternoon at RAC Arena.
UFC star Rob Whittaker is hosting a meet-and-greet on Saturday, while fellow fighter Tai ‘BamBam’ Tuivasa will host a UFC afterparty on Sunday at The Lookout in Scarborough.
