For the unversed, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa, who tied the knot in 2019, have been facing several challenges in their marriage. While the couple has always opened up to the media about the troubles in their relationship, after much deliberation, Sen and Asopa is expected to have parted ways for good. While Charu still holds the custody of their daughter Ziana, Rajeev visits her often and spends as much time with her as possible. Recently when Sen was asked about the new residence his former wife Charu shifted in, he wished her all the luck and happiness.
Rajeev Sen says he can be his wife’s ‘best friend’; says, “If Charu Asopa invites me I would certainly go to her new house”
In a recent interview, Rajeev Sen revealed that he would have no qualms in maintaining a friendly and cordial bond with his estranged wife Charu Asopa. Talking about going to her new home in Mumbai, Rajeev told Etimes, “If Charu invites me, I would certainly go. I feel I can be her best friend apart from being a father to my daughter Ziana.”
Readers would recall that the couple threw a lot of allegations on each other. While Charu maintained that Sen was suspicious of nature and often harassed her, Rajeev had maintained that his former wife did not tell him the entire truth about her first marriage. Despite the accusations, the couple has attempted to reconcile a few times but never succeeded. Advising everyone about letting things go, Rajeev added, “Setbacks of any sort need to be dealt with gracefully. It is important to let go of things in life which hold no purpose.”
Rajeev Sen recently also opened about being approached for Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, the entrepreneur is still considering the offer owing to his work commitments.
