Actor Rakhi Sawant was arrested after Sherlyn Chopra filed a complaint against her for using objectionable language and supporting the MeToo accused Sajid Khan. After the arrest, we recently came across a video where Rakhi Sawant was seen leaving the Amboli police station with her husband Adil Khan Durrani after hours of interrogation. The actor was seen in a burqa as she leaves the police station.

According to a report in India Today, Police didn’t find any concrete reason to arrest her, hence, she was asked to go home. In the video, Rakhi was even seen raising her folded hands to the media as she walked amidst the police officers with her husband.

For the unversed, today, Sherlyn took to her Twitter handle and shared a tweet saying Rakhi Sawant has been arrested. “Breaking news!!! Amboli police has arrested Rakhi Sawant in respect with fir 883/2022 yesterday, Rakhi Sawant’s aba 1870/2022 was rejected by Mumbai sessions court,” her tweet read.

Sherlyn even gave bytes to the media saying how the Bigg Boss 13 contestant tried to demean her and that Rakhi tried to malign her image. She even slammed her for supporting the MeToo-accused Sajid Khan. Chopra also informed that she will be taken to the magistrate court soon and hoped that she is kept for 14 days under judicial custody. Reportedly, Rakhi’s anticipatory bail before Dindoshi Court got rejected yesterday.

Sherlyn Chopra slams Rakhi:

Right after getting married to Adil, it was reported that she accepted the Islam religion. She has even confirmed that she has indeed changed her name to Fatima. Soon after this, the Main Hoon Na actor was spotted in a burqa during her visit to the hospital.
