Actor Rakhi Sawant got married to her boyfriend Adil Khan Durrani on May 29, 2022. However, the wedding pictures were released some days back which shocked her fans. She released pictures of herself with Adil where they are showing the marriage certificate. A video was also released earlier where she was performing nikkah rituals as well.
Post the video went viral on social media, it was reported that the Main Hoon Na actor changed her name to Fatima while accepting Islam as her religion. Now, Rakhi Sawant accepted that she changed her name post wedding while revealing the reason behind the change.
Rakhi Sawant on changing her name to Fatima:
During a media interaction, Rakhi was heard saying, “Ussme mein nahi jaana chahti hu, I’m sorry. Maine Adil ke liye sab kiya hai, pyaar mein maine sab kuch kiya hai. Everything is fair in love and war. I’m proud ki humne nikkah kiya hai and mera unhone name change kiya hai toh usme kya hai. Main Rakhi Sawant Adil Khan Durrani bhi hu, main Fatima Adil Khan Durrani bhi hu. Jab aap nikkah karte ho na, toh wah husband ke taraf se ek naam hota hai toh wo dena hi padta hai toh wo diya. Main Rakhi Sawant hi hu aur Rakhi Sawant Adil Khan Durrani bhi and fans ke liye RaDil.”

Meanwhile, only today, Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil admitted that he is married to the Bigg Boss 13 contestant.
