The 867 Timepiece with a 32mm silver case
Ralph Lauren’s 867 timepiece collection reinterprets the elegance of the Art Deco era with polished, pragmatic designs for what the brand describes as “how men live today.” Four additions to this collection with the same details that has made this line a signature of the fine luxury brand was recently introduced.
“Though the collections I create may be inspired by dreams, they are for real life—for all kinds of living,” Ralph Lauren, the founder of the eponymous brand, said in a statement.
The signature square design of the two-hand watch conveys the Art Deco style, which represents luxury, glamour, exuberance and faith in social and technological progress. It continues to be a popular motif in watches and jewels more than 100 years after it was introduced in France.
The four new watches in the 867 collection are available in 28mm and 32mm square case sizes in either sterling silver or 18K rose gold. Lacquered white dials combine Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock along with Arabic numerals for the remaining hour markers and outside seconds track. The dial is completed with Breguet-styled hands.
The timepieces are powered by the “extra-flat” Caliber RL430 mechanical manual winding Swiss movement manufactured for Ralph Lauren by Piaget. It has a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. The movements are hand finished with vertical Côtes de Genève stripes and circular graining, known as Perlage (meaning pearls). This movement results in an extra-thin watch, which enhances its elegance and refinement.

The Ralph Lauren 867 Collection is inspired by the designer’s New York men’s flagship at 867 Madison Avenue and the designs of the Art Deco period.
