Ranbir Kapoor asked to marry Alia Bhatt on THIS movie set, Ranveer tells | Bollywood Bubble

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have had a love story for the ages. Their relationship blossomed while working together on Brahmastra and the couple tied the knot earlier this year in April in a simple yet beautiful ceremony. While now everyone knows that Alia Bhatt confessed to her feelings for Ranbir Kapoor for the first time on Koffee With Karan, as the actress returned to the couch for the show’s inaugural episode of the seventh season, some new revelations were made that hint that maybe even Ranbir manifested this relationship.

Alia came to the first episode of Koffee With Karan 7 with Ranveer Singh and with the camaraderie they share, some fireworks were definitely expected from them and the duo delivered. With this being Alia’s first interview since her marriage with Ranbir, their relationship was bound to be unveiled and a lot of secrets came out of that.

While Karan Johar was talking to Alia, he revealed that even when Ranbir wasn’t on Alia’s radar, people were saying that when the two of them will work together, they will start a relationship. He said, “I said it to your mother-in-law as well. I said I just see it happening. It took some time, but when it happened, it just went like BAM!”

On that topic, Ranveer butted in with an interesting revelation. The actor asked Karan, “Didn’t he (Ranbir) come on the sets of Student Of The Year and joked with you, ‘Should I marry her, should I marry her?’” And while Karan testified to that happening, as it turns out, Alia was unaware about it as she reacted, “Did he? What? I don’t know this.”

Well, as people say couples are made in heaven and seems like Ranbir and Alia’s stars were always aligned. If Alia’s crush on her husband was from a long time, seems like even Ranbir had a little inclination to that idea for a while as well. And today, both of them are together and make for one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. They are even set to take the next step in their lives and become parents and these revelations just made their relationship all the more sweeter.

The first episode itself of Koffee With Karan 7 has been so interesting that now the curiosity to watch the rest of the season has just increased, and surely it’s going to be a firecracker as well.
