The trailer of the much-anticipated love saga titled Gehraiyaan was launched on Thursday. The film directed by Shakun Batra is headlined by Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa. The trailer has received a big thumbs up from the audiences and members from the film industry have also praised the team and called it promising.
Actor Ranveer Singh, who is also Deepika’s husband took to his Instagram handle to share his views on the trailer. Sharing a screenshot of Deepika from the trailer, he wrote, “Moody, sexy and intense!! Domestic noir ? Sign me up! All the favs @shakunbatra @ananyapanday @siddhantchaturvedi @dhairyakarwa Naseer the Legend ! & my babygirl lookin like a Fazillion buxxx @deepikapadukone produced by the sexiest of them all @karanjohar”.
At the virtual trailer launch event of Gehraiyaan, Deepika Padukone revealed that Ranveer Singh would always say that Shakun Batra and her will make an amazing film together. This is the first time that Shakun and Deepika are collaborating on-screen though they have been friends for a long time.
Jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Shakun Batra’s Jouska Films, Gehraiyaan will have its World Premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
