Razer Kishi V2 Pro For Android Launched In Malaysia At RM679

The Razer Kishi V2 Pro has been unveiled as the brand’s latest universal gaming controller for Android phones. It is the successor to last year’s Kishi V2 and with an almost RM200 price difference, it is largely the same device except for two hardware upgrades.

It features a universal docking system with an extendable bridge that makes it compatible with just about any Android smartphone with a Type-C port, given that it actually fits in-between the controller. The Kishi V2 Pro is equipped with a clickable thumbstick on both sides, a D-Pad, control buttons, as well as shoulder buttons.

Unlike its predecessor, the Pro comes with haptic feedback using the company’s HyperSense Haptics technology that lets you enjoy games with native support for vibration. For games that don’t have that, the technology will create vibrations using game audio, although this only works with select titles. Another feature exclusive to the Pro is a 3.5mm headphone jack, which the vanilla model notably lacked.

It doesn’t have a battery as it is powered directly by your phone but it does have a Type-C port on the bottom for pass-through charging, so you can charge your phone while using the controller. Additionally, it comes with the Razer Nexus app that keeps your games organised and has an integrated launcher.

The Kishi V2 Pro is now available on Razer’s site for RM679. However, the shipping cost is a whopping RM53.55 and the next-gen controller is not yet listed on the brand’s official Shopee store.
