Before Razer launched its Viper V2 Pro, the brand’s previous lightest mouse was the Viper Mini. Now, it looks like the company is giving the smaller peripheral line the one to hold the title of lightest mouse again, but at a significant cost increase, in the form of the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition.
While the original Viper Mini weighed in at 61g, the Viper V2 Pro managed to push the weight down to 59g. Now, with the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition, this gets reduced further to 49g. Unlike with the Viper V2 Pro, it’s obvious why this new mouse is so light. Most of the mouse’s exterior shell has been cut out, which exposes a very hollow interior. But rather than going with the more common honeycomb design, the grille pattern here has larger gaps with a thicker frame overall. The material of the exoskeleton is also noted to be made of a magnesium allow of some sort.
Being the latest mouse by the brand, the Viper Mini Signature Edition comes with all of the company’s latest tech. This includes its third generation optical switches, the 30K Focus Pro optical sensor, HyperSpeed Wireless support, up to 60 hours of battery life, and support for 40000Hz HyperPolling if you have the dongle.

And finally, we come to the price of the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition, which is a truly eye-watering RM1369. This is by far the most expensive gaming mouse that the company has made, which is ironic since the base Viper Mini is among the most affordable ones around. With its price, the Signature Edition is even more expensive than most – if not all – of the brand’s own keyboards. But if the ridiculous price is not a deterrent, this will be exclusively available on the Razer Online Store starting 12 February 2023.
