Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) who have 14 points from 13 matches will have to win the match with a decent margin to ensure an IPL 2023 playoffs berth. Gujarat Titans (GT) are already the first team to qualify for the playoffs. They have 18 points from 13 matches.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the first time in the IPL 2023, let’s have a look at four players who can score most runs in the match.
Virat Kohli: The former RCB captain slammed a hundred in a very crucial win for his team in his last outing against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Virat Kohli would be hoping to score high again in his side’s last league match.
In 13 IPL 2023 matches so far, Kohli has scored 538 runs at an average of 44.83 and a strike rate of 135.85. Kohli has the fifth-highest number of runs in the IPL 2023 at the moment. The 34-year-old has played 131 runs in two matches at an average of 65.50 and a strike rate of 122.42 against GT.
Faf du Plessis: The RCB captain has been nothing but stunning in the season so far. He has scored 702 runs in 13 matches at an average of 58.50 and a strike rate of 153.94. No other batter in the team has crossed the 700-run mark barrier.
The 38-year-old cricketer scored 71 off 47 in his last outing against SRH. Overall, he has scored 44 runs in two matches at a strike rate of 104.76 against Gujarat Titans (GT).
Hardik Pandya: The Gujarat Titans (GT) captain is the second-highest run-scorer for his team in IPL 2023. He has scored 289 runs in 12 matches at an average of 28.90 and a strike rate of 130.76.
Hardik has got out for two single digit scores in his last two outings but would aim to get back to form ahead of the all-important Qualifier 1. The 29-year-old has scored 298 runs at an average of 42.57 and a strike rate of 149.74 in 15 matches.
Shubman Gill: The Gujarat Titans opener is currently the fourth-highest run-scorer of the IPL 2023. He has scored 576 runs in 13 matches at an average of 48 and a strike rate of 146.19.
Like Kohli, Gill also scored a hundred in his last outing against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The 23-year-old right-hander has featured in 10 matches against RCB and scored 182 runs at an average of 22.75 and a strike rate of 130.00.
