Bachelor’s Australia star Leah Cummings reveals shocking allegations about her former Bachie beau Thomas Malucelli, saying she ”risked her health” to be with him as he “doesn’t believe in modern medicine.”
Recounting her “weird” relationship on the So Dramatic! podcast, Ms Cummings shares how her former fiance attempted to have her stop taking her severe asthma and anxiety medication, as well as encouraging her not to get COVID vaccinations.
She found herself ending to use her Ventolin in private when around The Bachelors Australia star.
“He said, ‘I think you have asthma because you believe you have asthma,’” she said.
Mr Malucelli told her how he’d handle asthma if they had a child who suffered from it.
“He’s like, ‘I would try alternate ways to treat that asthma,” she said.
“It upset me so much, but I didn’t say anything. I was just kind of like, ‘Well no. I would never try that.’”
Mr Malucelli also confessed that he wasn’t vaccinated, and had produced a “fake certificate” so he could appear on The Bachelors, which was a requirement from all participants on the show.
“It’s all like, red flags,” she said.
The couple’s “different views” on medicine was in part, responsible for The Bachelor’s decision to dump Leah just three months after proposing to her.
Not long after he’d given her a belated birthday gift, Mr Malucelli told her “This isn’t working.”
“He goes, ‘You know, we were just two different people,’” she recalled.
“I was so confused. There was a massive anti-climax… I thought this was gonna be all good news. I was just so, so shocked.”
Ms Cummings confessed that the more she got to know him once the cameras were off, the more she realised he wasn’t the “person she fell in love with on the show.”
