RedMagic 8S Pro and 8S Pro+ specifications
- Display: The RedMagic 8S Pro and 8S Pro+ have the same 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2480 x 1116 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 960Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, up to 1300 nits brightness, DC dimming, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.
- Processor: The phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 Advanced Edition with a clock speed of 3.36GHz and Adreno 740 GPU. In comparison, the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen2 has a clock speed of 3.2GHz.
- RAM and Storage: The RedMagic 8S Pro+’s top-end model packs up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This is the first phone with such massive RAM. The standard version packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
- OS: The phones run on Android 13 with Redmagic OS 8.0 out of the box.
- Cameras: Both the RedMagic 8S Pro and 8S Pro+ feature a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP under-display front camera for selfies.
- Connectivity: Connectivity options include 5G NSA /SA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS+ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
- Battery: The RedMagic 8S Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, while the 8S Pro+ has a 5,000mAh battery with 165W fast charging.
- Cooling: The RedMagic 8S Pro and RedMagic 8S Pro+ come with a built-in fan+ full-through air duct, 3D ice-level dump-pump, super large VC liquid cooling and super large VC liquid cooling graphene under the screen and up to 10 layers of cooling materials. Nubia claims the surface temperature of the whole machine body drops by 17 degrees Celsius.
