As evident from the tweet, we’ll witness at least two Redmi Note 12 series smartphones at the January 5th launch event in India: Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. There’s still no word about the vanilla model’s debut, but it’ll likely show up at the same launch event. Although the company is still mum about the time of the Redmi Note 12 series, official confirmation should appear online in the coming days leading towards the launch. Given the steady stream of official teasers the brand’s posting up lately, it shouldn’t be long before the launch timing surfaces online.
While we wait for that to happen, the company shared some key hardware specifications of the Redmi Note 12 lineup on its official website. The Note 12 family members will feature a 120Hz AMOLED panel and support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atoms. Powering the devices is the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. Redmi claims you’ll get a full day’s charge on the Redmi Note 12 series phones with just 15 minutes of charging.
