The remaining tickets for the 2022 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival went on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, and were sold out by 11:14, according to a tweet from the festival’s official account.

The festival, which will feature headliners Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Ye (formerly Kanye West), will happen at the Empire Polo Club in Indio April 15-17 and April 22-24.

When the lineup was announced on Wednesday, Jan. 12, festival organizers said that Weekend 1 was sold out and only passes for the second weekend would be available. Prices for the tickets are $549 for a general admission pass, $633 for a general admission pass with shuttle access and $1,119 for a VIP pass. These prices do not include fees.

At 9:31 a.m. the festival’s Twitter account posted that they were experiencing delays getting presale codes out and offered troubleshooting tips for fans not receiving them.

The tweet read: “Be sure to check your email, or log back in at http://prereg.coachella.com to display your unique code + purchase link. We are experiencing some delays in SMS being sent.”

That tweet has since been deleted.

Some fans expressed confusion as to why they didn’t receive a code.

Other fans were ready to go with their codes and simply waiting for the clock to strike 10 a.m.

There were also some generous fans offering their codes to the public.

And once the clock struck 10 a.m., another returning fixture of the Coachella experience returned — the little blue man that shows the ticket progress.

A spot check showed that by 10:06 a.m. general admission, general admission with shuttle and VIP passes were all still available.

Fans who secured their passes celebrated their success.

But after 10:30 a.m., fans began tweeting that they could no longer get passes. The fans who missed out expressed disappointment.

At 11:14 a.m., Coachella tweeted that the passes were sold out.

However, all hope is not lost. There are waitlist options for both weekends available via the Coachella website at coachella.com.
