As NBA free agency is set to begin on Friday, one of the biggest signings appears to be set in stone.
After months of discussion on whether the Golden State Warriors would bring Draymond Green back, the team has appeared to reach an agreement with the four-time NBA champion.
All signs have pointed to a new Draymond Green deal in Golden State since my enclosed story Monday and league sources now project Green to land a contract in the four-year, $100 million range from the Warriors once free agency commences.

According to NBA reporter Marc Stein, all signs are pointing to Green signing a new deal with Golden State. He opted out of the final year of his contract to enter unrestricted free agency, but it doesn’t appear that he considered heading to another team.
Stein says the former Defensive Player of the Year is likely to sign a new, four-year deal in the $100 million range. At 33 years old, the deal may take Green through retirement with the Warriors.
If this is the final big payday for Green, it’s well deserved. He’s been instrumental in each of the current Warriors’ core’s four championships, running the offense and setting the tone defensively.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have each talked about how important Green has been to the Warriors dynasty, and it appears that the team is keeping the group together while they still have a championship window.
Golden State and Green have had a great relationship over the last 11 seasons, and it looks like that relationship will continue.
