What will James Harden do this offseason?
That’s the big question in the NBA community.
The 10-time All-Star and three-time scoring champion is expected to opt out of his contract with the Philadelphia 76ers and became an unrestricted free agent.
Harden 33, is reportedly torn between re-signing with the 76ers or re-joining the Houston Rockets where he became a superstar.
Now there’s a Western Conference contender in the Phoenix Suns to keep an eye on in the Harden sweepstakes this summer, according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
“The Phoenix Suns don’t waive Chris Paul] unless they feel pretty good about somebody else. And I want you to keep your eye on James Harden. I don’t want to report anything, but that was in the wind for the past month or so.”
The Suns have reportedly been in discussions with Paul about his future moving forward with the franchise, and one option is waiving the future Hall of Fame point guard.
Could that decision be linked to a Harden pursuit? That’s the question.
