Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, Unveils $20,000-Per-Night Suite

Back in 2000, when I was on my honeymoon on Maui, my husband Bill and I were thrilled to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. To this day, we are still talking — and salivating — about one very noteworthy thing there: The Club Lounge. Basically a “home within a hotel,” this premier luxe lounge was nothing short of spectacular – from the beautiful glasses etched with the Ritz-Carlton logo, to the tremendous chocolate-chip-macadamia—nut cookies, to the lunches and desserts. We yearn to go back and experience all-things-Ritz, especially the Club Lounge, with its dedicated concierge who makes all things possible.

And now, I understand, I may not have to travel all the way to Hawaii to fulfill that delicious dream.

Recently opened, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, has unveiled the The Ritz-Carlton Suite, the premier suite in the 250-room hotel, in addition to The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad rises 500 feet above Manhattan and has introduced a new level of modern luxury to this dynamic neighborhood. With the addition of The Ritz-Carlton Suite and Club Lounge, guests can now indulge in the ultimate Ritz-Carlton experience.

All it will take me is a quick trip on the Acela from Boston to New York.

The suite is new and you have access to the club lounge which has been open for a few months as other rooms are located on the floor. The suite is $20,000 a night offering five complimentary culinary offerings throughout the day; breakfast, lunch, afternoon delights, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and desserts and cordials, all curated by Michelin-starred chef José Andrés and his culinary team.

“The official launch of The Ritz-Carlton Suite and The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, provides another layer of indulgence for our guests” said Bastian Germer, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. “The exclusivity of these signature spaces allows guests to experience the city from new heights unlike anywhere else in New York.”

Located on the 37th floor, The Ritz-Carlton Suite boasts sweeping views over Manhattan – from The Empire State Building to Downtown Manhattan and over to The Statue of Liberty. The expansive 2,100-square-foot one-bedroom suite is complete with a variety of lavish amenities, such as a private wellness room featuring a Peloton bike, distinct separate living and dining areas, a media room, 200-square-foot dressing area, stunning Terrazzo marble bathroom with soaking tub and double rain shower.

The residential-style suite features elegantly appointed spaces and an abundance of natural light. The earthy toned, neutral color palette emphasizes how time passes and echoes New York’s grid design. The Ritz-Carlton Suite can be combined with an Empire State Double room to form a 2,700 square foot two-bedroom suite.

Here’s hoping there’s a chocolate-macadamia-nut cookie in my future! And yours too.
