The Night Shift Experience is a Roblox game that pits players, taking the role of employees at a fast food restaurant, against a vicious killer. You’ll perform your role by taking orders from customers, cleaning up the restaurant, and catching pests, but all the while, the killer is closing in.
Like the night cycle in the the beloved Five Nights At Freddy’s games, The Night Shift Experience takes place over the course of late shifts at the restaurant. In this case, however, only three nights must be endured. Here’s everything you need to know to complete each one and finally beat The Night Shift Experience.
Night One
Night one is a straightforward yet eerie sequence, beginning with the player setting foot in Sad Burger for the very first time. As gripping Roblox horror games go, night one is relatively forgiving. Aside from a few jump scares, you’re safe to explore the restaurant and carry out your shift. To complete night one, simply follow the instructions provided on the monitor in the employee room. Here are the objectives:
Take Customer Order
To take a customer’s order, interact with the intercom next to the drive-through window. The customer will ask for food (Food #1, Food #2, or Food #3), which can be found on the counter behind you. Pick up the customer’s food choice, then bring it to the window and give it to them. You’ll have to do this repeatedly throughout each night, so be sure to return to the kitchen after every task.
Regardless of what a customer orders, giving them any food will cause them to drive away and counts toward the night’s progress.
Catch The Rat In The Bathroom
Exit the kitchen through the main door, then turn right to get to the bathroom. The rat will move around, but it isn’t very fast, so all you have to do is interact with it to catch it. You’ll receive the inventory item Dead Rat. Once you’ve killed the rat, head back to the kitchen.
You’ll take two more orders from customers. The first will ask for “Food #4,” which doesn’t exist. Give them any food item and they’ll drive away. The second will order a dead rat in a creepy voice. Give them the one you caught to continue the night.
Take Trash Outside To The Dumpster
Interact with the trash bag in the corner of the room, then leave Sad Burger through the front doors. Turn right, and head around the side of the building until you reach the dumpster. Interact with it to dump the trash, then return to the kitchen. After taking one more customer order, you’ll complete the first night.
Night Two
Night two isn’t all that different from night one, although there are dangerous moments and more frightening encounters with the killer. Players of the Roblox game Panik will be familiar with the experience of evading a killer while running errands. Like before, you’ll start off taking a customer’s order, before carrying out other tasks inside the Sad Burger. If you ever get lost, the monitor will always have instructions for you to follow. Here are all the steps to take to complete night two:
Mop The Spills In The Bathroom
Interact with the mop in the corner of the kitchen to pick it up, then head to the bathroom. There are four spills in total, and you’ll need to interact with each of them four times in order to clean them up. Once you’re done, head back to the kitchen to take another customer’s order.
Help The Man Outside
During your next order, you’ll be asked to go outside and help a man with his car. There are two ways to complete this task: you can either leave the Sad Burger and approach the man, or you can stay inside the restaurant. If you choose to stay inside, the man will eventually disappear and the night will continue as normal. If you decide to help him, he will start to chase you once you get close enough. In this case, run back inside the Sad Burger and head to the kitchen; if the killer catches you, you’ll die and be forced to start over. After that, take one final customer’s order and night two will end.
Night Three
This is your final night in The Night Shift Experience, and there are two possible endings that you can receive. The ending you get comes down to a single decision at the end of the night. Until then, the steps for both endings are exactly the same.
Kill The Spiders In The Freezer
Head into the freezer, which you can access through the side door in the kitchen. Interact with each spider in order to kill it; there are ten in total scattered around the room. Once that’s done, you can head back to the kitchen to take a customer’s order.
Answer The Phone
After the customer drives away, you’ll hear glass break somewhere inside the restaurant. Your boss will call you on the phone, so interact with it to pick up. He’ll tell you that there is a safe hidden behind the employee of the month picture, and that the code for it is 1234. Once he hangs up, you’ll have thirty seconds to act before the killer enters the restaurant.
Good Ending
To get the good ending, exit the kitchen and take the employee of the month picture off the wall. You can find it next to the cash registers. Enter the safe code and take the gun out of the safe. Head back inside the kitchen and make sure you have the gun equipped in your hand. Despite what the monitor says, do not hide inside the freezer. The killer will enter the kitchen through the front door.
Once the killer is inside, fire the gun. You’ll only have about a second to react before he catches you; if he does, you’ll be sent back to the lobby to start the game over again. If you shoot him first, he’ll fall to the ground, leaving you alive. You’ll then watch a cutscene in which a reporter explains that the killer was taken back to prison.
Bad Ending
In order to get the bad ending, all you need to do is hide inside the freezer before the killer arrives. Even if you picked up the gun, entering the freezer will result in a jump scare and your presumed death at the hands of the killer. The game ends with an alternate cutscene, where the reporter states that the employees at Sad Burger disappeared during their night shift. To make matters worse, the killer is still on the loose.
