Confident Ronnie O’Sullivan was so sure of landing his record-equalling seventh world title win that he already had his merchandise designed and ready to flog.

The Rocket, 46, had mugs, coasters and bar mats printed which even poked fun at his fiery exchange with referee Olivier Marteel. The #Seven collectible items are emblazoned with “You saw nothing” which the champ hissed at the ref during the heated moment when Ronnie lashed out over being given a warning.

They were all ready for purchase less than 12 hours after his historic win against Judd Trump at Sheffield’s Crucible on Monday night. One fan wrote: “Wow. They designed, made and distributed those quick since last night.”

Another fan said: “To be fair his creative team are probably working on No 10 already …. Can’t see it being a waste of time either.” One more joked: “Imagine he’d lost, could’ve thrown it all in the bin!”

Fans were set to clear the shelves after the snooker icon announced he was visiting Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre on Tuesday. He tweeted: “I’ll be coming to the shop in Meadowhall to launch the 7 collection. Thankyou everyone for 30 years of support xx.”
