Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams is set for a personal milestone when South Africa takes on Zimbabwe on Thursday.

The two national teams will face each other in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at FNB Stadium. Kick-off is at 21:00.
And Williams, who is likely to start against the Warriors as captain of Bafana Bafana, would be featuring in his 25th international match for the senior team.

The 25th cap would see Williams overtake THREE legendary Bafana Bafana goalkeepers in Brian Baloyi, Moeneeb Josephs and Rowen Fernandez.
The abovementioned trio have all retired from professional football, and have ventured into coaching since quiting the beautiful game.

But prior to them retiring, they all earned 24 caps each for Bafana Bafana, but Williams is likely to push them down in the all-time list for the most caps by goalkeepers.
Hans Vonk (43 caps), Andre Arendse (67) and Itumeleng Khune (91) are the three goalkeepers currently leading the top three list for the all-time caps by a goalkeeper at Bafana Bafana.
