Rosewood Hotels To Bring Luxury Wellness Resort To Saudi Arabia’s Amaala Development

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts joins a long list of luxury brands jumping on board with Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global development. Rosewood Amaala will be part of Amaala, and is planned as an integrated wellness destination, that will include a Clinique La Prairie Health Resort and the Triple Bay Yacht Club.

Spanning more than one million acres on Saudi Arabia’s west coast, and surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest reef, Amaala is being marketed as a year-round destination. With a first phase opening planned for 2024, there will be eight resorts with over 1,300 rooms, and when the development is finished in 2027, the plan is to have more than 25 hotel, private residences and numerous wellness and recreational offerings.

Rosewood Amaala will focus on regenerative experiences that combine wellness and sustainability. It will offer 110 rooms and suites, as well as 25 Rosewood Residences, designed by famed ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

Sustainability is the focus with the entire development and will highlight 100 percent renewanal energy and zero-carbon footprint. To protect the local fauna, including the endangered hawksbill and green turtles, the development plans to protect the coral reefs and will provide two rock pools, allowing guests access to the water and sand, while causing less disruption.

Facilities at the hotels will include numerous dining options, and beach club lounges. There will be a Rosewood Explorer’s Club for kids activities and for adults, the Asaya Spa, will offer private treatment rooms set around a stunning green oasis area.

The Rosewood property joins the previously announced flagship property, the Jayasom Wellness Resort in Triple Bay developed as a family wellness destination. It will feature Holistic Health, Fitness, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Aesthetic Beauty, and a massive Spa.

The Clinique La Prairie’s property will have four separate areas of the resort focusing on medical care, nutrition, movement and wellbeing. The resort centers its approach using prreventative medicine, genetics and epigenetics. It also features a diagnostics lab, museum, beach club, workshop and training rooms, private dining space, and cooking school.
