Royal Enfield’s lineup includes a range of 350 cc motorcycles, with the Bullet 350 being the sole model still utilizing the older platform and powertrain. However, as per a ToI report, the company is planning an update for the Bullet 350. Royal Enfield has discreetly sent out invitations for an event scheduled between August 30 and September 1, fueling speculation about the launch of the new-gen Bullet 350.

Although the company has not explicitly confirmed the model, clues from the teaser point towards the refreshed Bullet 350. The teaser showcases an older version of the Royal Enfield logo, accentuating the motorcycle’s retro appeal. Additionally, the teaser captures the distinctive thumping sound of the exhaust on idle, suggesting that the new-gen Bullet 350 will retain its iconic acoustic charm.

Presently, the Bullet 350 comes equipped with a 346 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, generating 19.36 PS of power and 28 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the newer J-series 349 cc engine, featured in other models such as the Classic 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350, delivers 20.21 PS of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque. The upcoming model is likely to maintain this powertrain, paired with a 5-speed transmission.

Regarding positioning, the 2023 Bullet 350 is expected to occupy a position above the entry-level Hunter 350 but below the Classic 350 in the Royal Enfield portfolio. As a point of reference, the Hunter 350 is presently priced from Rs 1.5 lakh, while the Classic 350 starts at Rs 1.93 lakh. An estimated base price of Rs 1.7 lakh is anticipated for the new-gen Bullet 350.
