RRR, SS Rajamouli’s magnum epic, is on a box office tear. After a good showing at the box office over the weekend, the picture continued to make money on its debut Tuesday. RRR is now the ninth highest-grossing Indian film of all time at the box office, and the second-highest-grossing Telugu film worldwide, surpassing all other films save Baahubali 2. After multiple delays, RRR, produced by DVV Danayya, was released in theatres on March 25. The film turned out to be in the making for 3.5 years. Though Rajamouli had planned to release it in 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic pushed them to delay. The Telugu independence heroes Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem are the subjects of RRR, a period action drama set in the 1980s.. The movie features Jr NTR & Ram Charan in lead roles.
