Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli appreciates the trailer of upcoming movie, Gulmohar, starring Sharmila Tagore, Manoj Bajpayee and others. He took to his Instagram Story and shared a video praising the cast of the film.
RRR director S.S. Rajamouli lauds the heart-warming Gulmohar trailer; says, “Can’t wait to watch the film!”
The Gulmohar team received a video greeting from RRR director SS Rajamouli. The filmmaker in the video said, “Gulmohar trailer looks very intriguing. Manoj Bajpayee looks promising as usual. I am happy to see Sharmila Tagore ji’s comeback after many years. Can’t wait to watch this!”
Sharmila Tagore recently attended the special screening of Gulmohar along with Manoj Bajpayee and other cast and crewmembers in Delhi. At the screening, she said, “I hope you liked the movie. I am seeing it for the third time and I was still crying profusely, although I am in it. Of course, working with Manoj, Suraj… actually he makes me cry. I kind of vibe with this young lot. They make it so difficult for themselves. They can easily take their father’s money and get on, but they have to punish themselves. This is an assured debut film by Rahul and so well written.”
A beautiful and absorbing story for all ages to watch with their loved ones directed by Rahul V. Chittella. Gulmohar will see the luminous and graceful Sharmila Tagore return to cinema after 12 years, with acting powerhouses Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, Simran and Suraj Sharma. Gulmohar, which is set in Delhi, chronicles the Batra family’s final four days in their 34-year-old house before they move to a new city.
Directed by Rahul Chittella, written by Rahul Chittella and Arpita Mukherjee, Gulmohar will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from March 3, 2023.
