Ryanair is giving Brits the chance to snap up some last-minute holiday deals with a huge new sale including flights under £10 to Portugal and Spain.

The budget airline has slashed prices on heaps of UK departures to the likes of Faro, Malaga and Alicante with plenty of fares available from £9.74 each way.

The sale also includes plenty of flights under £20 to Cyprus, as well as the Canary Islands. The latter are particularly ideal for those looking for hot and sunny November holiday destinations (there’s a reason they’ve always been popular for winter sun holidays ).

The deals are valid for travel dates until December 31, 2021.

When we took a look we found plenty of fares for £9.99 each way including:

  • Stansted or Malaga to Gatwick
  • Birmingham to Faro, Malaga and Malta
  • Bournemouth to Gran Canaria
  • East Midlands to Fuerteventura
  • Edinburgh to Lanzarote

You can already book the cheap flights on the Ryanair website but you’ll need to do so by November 14, when the offer ends.

It’s worth noting that these fares won’t include extra fees such as cabin bags – you can find out more about Ryanair’s cabin bag policy in our guide here.

Currently both Spain and Portugal are open to Brits for holidays, with both countries open to those who are fully vaccinated or can show proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours before travel. (The entry rules do slightly differ for each destination so check the Foreign Office’s Portugal travel advice or Spain travel advice for more information before booking a trip).

At the time of writing, the UK’s red list doesn’t feature any countries, meaning travellers won’t need to stay in quarantine hotels when coming back from abroad.

However, there are still rules in place – and these differ depending on your vaccination status.

If you’re fully vaccinated, you’ll need to take a PCR test or a lateral flow test on day two when back in the UK.

If you’re unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you’ll need to take a pre-departure test, as well as PCR tests on days two and eight of your return. You will also be required to self-isolate for 10 days.
