Sahil Khattar: Ranveer Singh and I share a volcano meets tornado energy

Legendary Indian wicketkeeper Syed Kirmani and his onscreen avatar from Kabir Khan`s 83, Sahil Khattar get into a conversation with mid-day.com. While Kirmani shares stories of the 83 win and his foray into cricket, Sahil speaks about recreating those moments onscreen, working with the cast including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and the others.

Sahil says, “Deepika is a walking, talking example of grace and elegance. She’s so sweet. Ranveer used to tell us ‘tumhari bhabhi aa rahi hai. Bhabhi se baat karna, oh zyada baat mat karna.’ Ranveer and I used to enjoy making parodies of songs. Then Kabir Khan had to remind us we have to shoot, we came all the way to the UK spending a lot of money. Ranveer and I share a volcano meets tornado energy, when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force.”
